Feeding
Since we usually have a nice selection of fish, corals, and invertebrates, we also keep a variety of foods on hands to make sure that they are all well fed before you get them. As variety was mentioned, always make sure that you are catering to the needs of the animals in your aquarium! It is your responsibility to learn what they eat in nature so that you can duplicate it while they are in your captive care! For example: Surgeonfish or tangs are the cows of the sea! They are constantly grazing algae and seaweed. Therefore, it is important that algae and seaweed make up a large part of their diet in captivity! Angelfish love algae, seaweed, meaty foods and sponge. Beware if you are a sponge lover! Whatever your choice of fish or corals, always make sure that they are given a variety that will include their main food source! Feed only what can be eaten in 2-3 minutes! Don’t overfeed! We sell frozen foods, pellets, flakes and some freeze-dried products!
