Intheinitialphase,weproposetheinclusionof10-15charmingTinyHomesonWheels(THOW),connectedbyanintricatetrailnetwork. Complementingthis,avibrantcommunityhubbuilding,adedicatedstaffhousingstructure,andparkingfacilitiescomprising20-25spaceswill enhancetheoverallretreatexperience.Itisourprimaryobjectivetopreservethenaturallandscapeasmuchaspossiblewhileensuringtheself-sustainability of the retreat units. Thepreservationofthevastmajorityofthelandforoutdooractivities,includinghiking,canoeing,andmountainbiking,liesattheheartofour developmentphilosophy.Byestablishingandconnectingnewhikingandmountainbikingtrailswithintheproperty,weseektocontribute positivelytothemunicipality,enhancingitssocialandculturalvaluethroughgreateraccesstothepristinewilderness.Togainacomprehensive understandingoftheproject’sviabilityandgarnerthesupportofthemunicipality,weareactivelyseekingfeedbackfromHRM(HalifaxRegional Municipality)staffandcouncillors.Thiscollaborativeapproachallowsustoaligntheprojectwiththerequirementsandexpectationsofthe municipality, creating a mutually beneficial partnership.
